In this rewrite i decided to make a small mix between her canon and fanon ver! It's upsetting that columbina has so many Angel inspired stuff but they don't play apart of her story at all. So here, columbina is half-angel, sonnet being the last alive moon sister strikes a deal with an angel (seraph) to create the new moon holding her lunar authority (and eventually everyone') she does that cause once phanes claimed teyvat her and her sisters have stopped being welcome and apart of the new world, so to not pass that burden onto their not yet born sister, so she could be welcomed in the world having a connection to a being that actually belongs there, though during that procces the seraphim ends up falling for sonnet (doomed yuri yay) was it forbidden though? Considering sonnet was nor a human or belonged to the world? That did not matter. So, as a punishment columbina would be born without her sight and basically as a ticking time bomb, eventually overstaying her welcome in teyvat. (that's why she has fhe eyewear in this rewrite lmao) columbina is interesring to say tge least here, and she actually is terrifying while keeping her delicate and innocent demeanor. There is still so much to write but just imagine her as the columbina we could've gotten and a bit of the one we have without all the fan servic. Also sorry to the sanbina fans but they are not close here, sandrone is also how we expected here, closed off, not social. Tho i still like the idea of her getting annoyed by columbinas singing so im keeping that. Instead from all the harbingers columbina was the closest to arlecchino, not only cuz of the characters from commedia dell'arte they were based on but also their connection to the moon. Being born with a curse because of something they had no control over etc etc. With columbina never being sent to missions she would often visit the house of the hearth, she never acted scary or anything around rhe kids, mostly keep her sweet and innocent damselette persona. And when still in the fatui They would often make music together with arlecchino playing the piano and columbina singing lullabies. The lullaby she sings in this rewrite is what the seraphim sung to her before being banished. Also despite her being blind she has eyes on her halo, they are completely different from normal vision and she usually keeps them closed as well, cause people can't really look at them due to her
