it seems like the wife is being somewhat selfish. is she going to place that child and her husband above that cat? and even if the veterinarian does all the procedures and the treatments, there will be more treatments in the future and that's going to cost them more than what they have saved. I know they all love the cat, however, should they give up on their dream to have a home just because a cat is going to cost so much to be treated?
