How to do a Dyson Airwrap Blowdry… You will need: A hair dryer A Dyson airwrap Curl clips Hair mousse: I’m using the @Paul Mitchell sculpting foam (pr) Hair serum/oil: I’m using @Olaplex bonding oil Hairspray: I’m using Paul Mitchell freeze and shine hair spray (pr) Hair brushes for finishing Optional: Volumising spray, I’m using @K18 Hair astrolift spray Method: 1. After washing, towel dry and apply your hair mousse and volumising spray 2. Blast your hair until it’s about 70% dry 3. Brush your hair and section… if you like, I’m not sectioning as I’m so used to curling it! 4. Take a small section of hair and wrap the hair around the air wrap using the medium heat - I like to curl my hair towards my face and my fringe away from it. 5. Pull the hair upwards to give more volume, and move the hair across the barrel with your hand to dry it quicker 6. When the hair is DRY (yes dry not damp, v important!) use the cool shot button to cool the hair down for 5 seconds 7. Then remove the barrel from your hair swiftly and hold the coil of your hair in place with your finger. Add a curl clip to hold the curl in place. TA - DA… your first airwrap pin curl! See, easy when you know how! 8. Repeat this process with the rest of your hair, keeping sections small like mine. I like to curl the top of my hair first and work down but it’s your choice how you do it. 9. Once your whole head is covered in pin curls, go and pet your cat. Or husband. The longer you leave your curls to set, the better. Overnight is the best option but make sure to wrap your hair in a scarf or bonnet. 10. Remove the pin curls and brush out. I like to use a brush to untangle followed by a finishing brush… for finishing. 11. Apply serum to the mid lengths and ends if needed and hair spray for hold. Side note: to preserve your blow dry, always tie your hair in a loose top bun at night wrapping the hair in the same direction of the curl and apply a scarf or bonnet. I cannot be responsible for those who wake up looking like an 80s extra the next day if they don’t heed this advice. Enjoy! #dysonairwrap
