I did it from the uk to Hawaii. So so so scary….. but oh so wholesome. Got off the plane and thought hell no to working in this heat and humidity instantly. So all pressure was off. Boss picked me up and was so relaxed because I knew I wasn’t staying and this was just a random holiday now. Got an hour up country and it was utterly different- decided to stay. Been here two years and only had a couple of embarrassing culture cross overs so far. Good luck.
