Oven Baked Pork Chops . Ingredients 4–6 pork chops (bone-in or boneless) 2 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning 1 cup chicken broth 2 tbsp butter Optional: sliced onions or potatoes for the pan Instructions 1. Preheat the Oven Heat your oven to 400°F / 200°C. 2. Season the Pork Chops Pat the pork chops dry. Drizzle with olive oil. Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and thyme. Rub seasoning on both sides of the pork chops. 3. Sear for Extra Flavor (optional but recommended) Heat a skillet on medium-high. Sear pork chops 2 minutes per side until lightly browned. 4. Bake Place chops in a baking dish. Add chicken broth and butter to the bottom of the dish. Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, depending on thickness. Pork chops should reach an internal temp of 145°F / 63°C. 5. Rest and Serve Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes.
