@scotland_sidebyside_: AD| I spent years telling myself I’d start “when…” When I felt more motivated. When life settled down. When I felt confident enough. When I lost a little weight first. The truth is… that day never came. For a long time I didn’t recognise the person looking back at me. Between PCOS, perimenopause, hormones, comfort eating & putting everyone else first, I slowly stopped choosing myself. This time feels different. Not because it’s been easy. Not because I’ve suddenly become motivated every day. But because I’m no longer chasing a smaller body. I’m chasing better health. More energy. More confidence. More adventures with Chester & Olive. More moments where I actually want to be in the photos instead of behind the camera. Yes, weight loss medication has been part of my journey, but it’s only a tool. The real work has been changing my mindset & learning that I deserve to feel good in my own skin. I’ve tracked every calorie, done every workout & hit my goals consistently for 6 months! That’s not “cheating” that’s my body finally working how it should be. Bolt Pharmacy have been fantastic & helped me every step of the way. From being able to track my progress on their app weekly, to easy refills & expert advice. I’ve felt so at ease. Now, don’t worry, this account isn’t becoming a weight loss account. It’s still about our adventures, but for a long time behind the scenes they’ve been a struggle! Being so unfit & ill… that my real life.
