Korean Food Series : Gyeran Jjim (Korean Steamed Eggs) Ingredients - Thick pot - Eggs - Water - Anchovy fish sauce (can be substituted with fish sauce) - Salt - Sugar - Green onions - Sesame oil - Sesame seeds Recipe 1. In a bowl, mix 6 eggs, 1 tsp of anchovy fish sauce, 1 tsp of salt, and 1 tbsp of sugar. 2. Pour 1/2 cup of water into a thick pot and bring it to a boil. 3. Once the water boils, add the egg mixture and chopped green onions. 4. Lower the heat and stir, scraping the sides of the pot. 5. Stir for 2-3 minutes until the mixture starts transitioning from liquid to solid, then cover the pot and reduce to low heat. 6. Steam for 3 minutes. 7. Finally, garnish with sesame seeds and drizzle sesame oil on top to finish. Tip - If you’re not using a thick pot like a stone pot (like ttukbaegi), the eggs are more likely to stick to the surface. #koreanfood #gyeranjjim #계란찜 #koreansteamedegg
