Do not go on a carnival cruise because they are the worst line I’ve ever been on, on Norwegian the food is like going to a Golden Corral, stick with Royal Caribbean, princess for lower brand cruises for a better experience

Our hack/tip is to sign up for check in 1:00pm-2:00pm. Typically no lines at the port and fast processing. Walk on with luggage and our rooms are ready. Lines are shorter at food places because the earlier groups are now going to their rooms or already ate there.

Quick question: if we want to take our kids on a cruise for their graduation in 2027 (July) when do I start looking into it and booking it or making payments or starting the process? I have no idea how to do this. Do I need a travel agent or can I do it alone ? Are there deals for military families? Should I buy tickets on base ? Can I lol ? I’m so lost lol

And this one may be obvious, but a good reminder: keep your travel docs on hand with you until you’re absolutely in the ship! Don’t leave passports/IDs/birth certificates in your checked luggage!

Don’t forget to set a reminder on your phone to do your check in on the date they tell you in the App. Print your documents ahead of time and purchase cruise luggage tags
