Those heartbreaking feelings of "someone please help us"! screams in my head on repeat. Nothing in the world mattered but your safety. Id give anything to get back our deep and meaningful talks. I know you can hear me but.......I can't....My minds clouded It's not just anniversaries a date to remember them, it's everyday our hearts break. We put on a brave face everyday while our hearts are still burning like a comet has smashed into our universe. And yet some people still don't understand our feelings. Sometimes I want to switch off from the world and people. We choose not to connect because our mental battery is drained. It's not always about you. We can't give our everything when we're drowning with our own thoughts. It's not ignorance It's survival. We may choose to isolate instead of being around people or cancel plans simply because of our mental exhaustion. It's not you...it's essentially for our inner peace. Because if you have gone through this kind of trauma you might understand. So on behalf of us Mums and Dads who lost a child. Be kind...Be gentle...Sometimes we don't need advice...Don't be that person to tell us time will heal..it doesn't for us..Don't expect anything you'll only be disappointed.. be patient or be gone..please don't put pressure on us and don't forget to talk about our angels, say their names. I know for sure my eyes light up when someone shares a story of them. Sadly This is written on behalf of the parents, bearing the Unbearable loss of a child who's too exhausted to say it.
