@dr.rickpescatore: A long one, but validating. We have a nationwide thiamine deficiency #epidemic. It’s staring us in the face while well-meaning clinicians pull the wool over their eyes. With this #research , the massive #publichealth problem can no longer be denied. #breakingnews #Science

This isn't directed at you personally: what the fuck are doctors even being paid to do besides apply bandaids at this point?

You’re telling me that in 2009 when I was a mal nourished child (because of poverty) and started vomiting everyday for 6 months until I was skin and bones…that it could have been a simple vitamin deficiency. I was diagnosed with anxiety. Cool. Cool. Cool :/

It’s crazy to me how little emphasis is put on vitamin deficiency. My ferritin was a 6 and they just told me to take an iron supplement. My hair was falling out, my body was restless. My chest hurt and had heart palpitations, I couldn’t rest and would nearly pass out at times. This has been going on 3 YEARS. No one until recently told me you have to be very specific about when and how you take iron for it to be effective. I’ve been following a proper iron protocol for two weeks and my symptoms have all but disappeared. I’m so grateful but I’m so disappointed it took 3 years of my life and suffering.

I comment every time I see your video, but you saved my life. I was about three days from a feeding tube due to gastroparesis when I came across your video. I began thiamine that day and it worked within two hours. My life has changed completely.

Vitamin B1 (thiamin) is found naturally in pork, fish, beans, lentils, sunflower seeds, and whole grains, as well as in fortified breakfast cereals and breads.

The answer to sooo many nutritional issues with the US is beans! 😭 we're also seeing rising cases of colon cancer in younger and younger people because of low fiber. what has high thiamine and high fiber? LEGUUUMES 🫘

I don’t drink, I don’t do drugs, I’m healthy apart from migraines, I am on a GLP-1 and just tested because of his videos and I’m deficient! LISTEN TO HIM! Oh and you don’t always have to vomit, I don’t and still LOW! GET CHECKED FOR ANY SYMPTOMS THAT ARE UNEXPLAINED!!

Here’s my story: started vomiting multiple times daily during the entire pregnancy. Gave birth and it literally never stopped for 17 years. No rhyme or reason to it, full stomach, empty stomach, spicy food, bland food, no pattern. Diet changes, medicine for GERD and nausea was all I ever got from the specialist and scans, test and bloodwork always fine. They had no answer for the fact that nausea was never associated with the vomiting. Started taking a B complex and poof, gone.

I was sent for a brain MRI, ENT, hearing testing and to 10 different doctors. Finally my naturopath sent me for vitamin tests and I was just low in iron and B12. Medical system was clueless and ran me around for 2 years over vitamin deficiency 🙄

As someone pregnant, I wonder how much of pregnancy vomiting might be related to this?? Do we check pregnant women for B1? I've barely been able to eat anything substantial

So we know my D is critically low (took supplementing with prescription grade vitamin D for my levels to come up, 50,000 IUI/WK for 6 mos) & extreme low folate levels. I'm wondering if I should add B1... 🤔

I don’t understand how blood work wasn’t being done for these cases? It kinda feels negligent tbh.
