@medicaldoctor48: COMMON REASONS SOME BABIES DON'T CRY AT at BIRTH 👶 1. Birth asphyxia One major reason is Birth asphyxia. This happens when the baby does not get enough oxygen during labour or delivery, making the baby weak and slow to breathe. 2. Premature birth Babies born too early may have immature lungs, so they may not cry immediately or may need help breathing. 3. Difficult or prolonged labour A long or stressful labour can make the baby tired and slow to respond after birth. 4. Meconium in the amniotic fluid If the baby passes stool before birth and inhales it, this is called Meconium aspiration syndrome, which can affect breathing and delay crying. 5. Effects of drugs given during labour Sometimes medications given to the mother for pain can make the baby sleepy or slow to cry at birth. 6. Infection or medical conditions Serious infections like Neonatal sepsis or other health problems can also make a baby weak at birth. A baby's first cry is important because it shows the lungs are working , that is why every birth delivery should be handled by a trained health professional.... May your 9 months journey never be in vain Amen 🙏 #fyp
