I mean, I have been to the grocery store and when there’s no carts or baskets, I have an empty grocery bag that I put groceries in and then walk to the register. Take all the groceries out of the bag and pay for it.. but I have never walked in with my purse and put items in my actual purse. That’s suspicious because why would you put items that you’re gonna pay for in a bag with your personal items? She was most definitely trying to stay.
