am a swimmer we wear caps so hair don't get in the way(if you have long hair) and the goggles are on tightly so the freshness is nice after you put it in water

I think I know, correct me if I am wrong, the cap during swimming is to keep your hair from coming loose and clogging the cleaning system. You then take the cap off and dunk your head under the water to release the tension and nots so that it's easier to brush later on (depending on your hair type). Again, correct me if I'm wrong. 🙂

Swim caps don’t make you magically faster. They keep hair out of your face, reduce a little drag in the water, help goggles stay in place, and protect your hair from chlorine. That’s why most competitive swimmers wear them.
