The girl survived but had a brain injury and skull fracture, the family sued the stadium, settled, and the stadium put more netting around that section .

Even though the ball hit that little girl, it's not like it was intentional! Yes you know he feels so bad about it. But you take a child to a ball game at your own risk! No one knows what can happen... The parents should not be able to sue the ball park!!! You took the child willingly there and that's on the parents! I'm sorry the child has that serious of injuries but it's really no one's fault... It was a tragic injury no one could control...

Yeah I wouldn't be able to continue the game… I'd be going to the hospital where she was and wouldn't leave until she was okay. I couldn't imagine what he was going through

Not anyone's fault but a Tragic accident. Baseball has been around for a long time and it's rare for these incidents to happen. Prayers to all involved!
