my homeboy was in a talking stage with this girl and he had ghosted her because they both thought the other wanted something else, when he died I knew I needed to get in contact with her and validate their relationship because it might not have been official but she made him happy. me and her became good friends after he died. and I will always be there to validate her feelings because I saw it too. I don't remember much from the day of the funeral but apparently I approached her and actually talked to her for the first time and told her " you will never know how much he loved you, it was real" because I knew she hadn't heard from him in a while and NEEDED to hear it.
