dont get me wrong, im 100% down for hoyo to give a character that hates us. I just dont know how it would be executed since the whole point of them joining our journey+team is because we befriended them. like they would NOT be in our teapots, im stumped on what the voicelines we get from friendship lvl would be, other character interactions confuse me as well because why would our friends be buddy-buddy with the one that hates us and vice versa. closest we got is the wanderer

A lot of people forget that the Fatui are morally grey, and they are their own people outside of just collecting the gnosises for the cryo archon (Mavuika said this herself after fighting a Fatui Harbinger + multiple instances that they aren’t 100% “evil”). Majority of the fandom don’t know that we’re not supposed to be trusting the archons either, and the traveler is being led in the wrong direction of the reality around them. You don’t even need to know Gnosticism or Spirituality to pick up context clues for this either, because they hint it multiple times. 😭
