I have a french mastiff shes a pure breed with certificates and shes never hurt a single person unless its playfighting because shes obviously a big dog. And even though she does listen to us we still keep her onna lead.

he literally said "@J:these dog breeds are strong they aren’t chiwawas so you have to apply dominance or they will dominate you". he clearly knows nothing about dogs' behavior or how dominance is implied. also making fun of chihuahuas just show how he stereotypies these breeds and just likes the aesthetic. chihuahuas are intelligent and need lots of training to waste their energy or they will be violent as we see sadly, in many cases

I have two tones with my girl, my higher squeaky voice when I'm talking to her and loving on her, but if I want her to do something I drop my voice and she does it, I've never shouted at her, I've never put hands on her, I did have to grab and pin her BC she tried to challenge me, but I never hurt her, thanks to bad vet advice she was removed from mum at 5 weeks old, she didn't get to play with mum, mum never got to teach boundaries and it absolutely showed, I pinned her twice then she realised I was bigger and stronger and the challenging behaviour stopped, there's absolutely no need to do what he's doing, what he's doing is cruel
