@var.aunevik: Yes, this video is also hyperpolitics. OpenAI flew influencers to a luxury retreat in nature, while closing a half‑trillion dollar deal to build data centers that destroy....nature. Which is why I find it difficult to believe that they didn't see all this backlash coming. The main outrage showed up in the comment section of the influencers who took the brand trip, which is rightful, they after all used their own judgement and then said yes (or maybe they asked chatgpt?). Criticizm needs an outlet, and companies do not have comment sections in the same way influencers do. Was this an intentional move? Did they know they could simply redirect the criticism? Because where is all the rage towards the company who organized it? Mentioned : Hyperpolitics by Anton Jäger
The brand walks away untouched and also benefits from the outrage marketing.

Who’s the marketing manager at AI-companies? Feels like they come up with a good idea and decide to do the exact opposite

I love your new background! Also, the idea of hiring philosophers to Open AI sound diabolical. Hiring for what purposes exactly? Because to me it sounds like “we will hire philosophers who will not fix the moral and ethical problems of the product but will create communication strategies to sell people unethical product that destroys their jobs and also nature:)”. So why philosophers and not communication experts?)) funny

redirecting anger is the trojan hence the location but reifying the sense of inevitability is the ultimate goal, our witnessing “trusted” voices capitulate to its programming will continue because to retreat will be like admitting failure - they’ve to fake it until they make it
