everyone keeps saying it's the worst thing but never really why. my husband has been through 6 deployments, countless field ops and month long tdys, he's been in charge of 40+ people, and had high demand job rolls. 6 weeks and coming home every night feels like nothing, like it will suck but not as bad as it could be I guess. we keep repeating how confused we are about the constant warnings. 🥴

I got married in "87" then earned Chief in Sept of that year. My Bride was a Navy Brat so she knew all the "Pomp and Circumstance" of the Military. With no children, she gave me all the time fun and frivolity. worth every second.
