So sorry about your Mum. Same happened with my younger sister. Really bad headaches, her character changed, couldn't remember things, seizures and collapsing. Doctor diagnosed her with migraines for two years. I went to her last doctors appointment with her and said "I'm not leaving til you book her in for a scan, two years is too long for what she has been going through". Scan booked, got results week later and she was taken into hospital the same day as she received results, operation day after. Took consultant 6 weeks after her operation to meet us and tell us she had glioblastoma. Anything that seems off neurologically, please seek help straight away. Just wish I'd gone with her sooner to the doctors

Every day my mom gets worst to me and they keep saying it's from radiation but deep down I feel it's already coming back 😩

So sorry to hear about your mum glioblastoma is such a horrible cruel disease i lost my husband in 2020 I hope they find a crue for it soon

The problem is these doctors gaslight us to think we’re imagining things or it’s nothing serious or major. It’s so hard these days to get a doctor to actually take you seriously. My mom died of this horrible cancer Glioblastoma as well 6 months ago. Our medical system here is horrendous. The fights u have to go through to be taken seriously is insane. Its so sad. Sorry for your loss as well.

Im so sorry my mother also passed away from glioblastoma in December 2025. Was diagnosed in October and I’m not looking forward the next couple of months. Sending healing strength for the next couple of months 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

So sorry for your loss . My Mum died last December having been diagnosed with 2 gliomas in July. She chose not to have any surgery as we were advised that radiotherapy for brain tumours is particularly difficult. We had 6 lovely weeks after diagnosis when we sucked the marrow from life but then the journey became hard for her and us. Personality and physical changes are very hard but it isn’t them. The end came almost as a relief though I grieve the loss for Mum of the vigour and energy she had for life in the period prior to her falling ill. She was so full of life mentally and physically. Now I am also recovering from the trauma of caring for her while living away from home for 6 months. All I can say is take each day as it comes -some days were great,others were brutal. As her carer and daughter, my recovery is hard and non linear. I am so sad she is gone,regret I didn’t always show her all of me but I know I did my best. I feel her with me at times and she will forgive that. This is a horrid, unfair disease, that came out of the blue. It makes me realise we need to live for the now and tell all close to us how much we love them xxx

My dad would use the wrong words. For example, instead of saying tractor he said grasshopper, and other odd words in place of correct words. Died almost exactly 12 months from diagnosis.

I am so sorry for your loss. My friend died of glioblastoma last year. She had some major character changes that afterwards we realized were symptoms 🙏
