People never see the big picture. These people willing to drive irrationally, putting other lives at risk, are a danger.. Had that officer not stopped him head on, in a controlled manner. that guy could of hit a family with children in it, head on.. A school bus, someone with a new born.. At least 1 officer in a police car, that is prepared for it. Is less a risk, then him hitting another innocent driver.

@pistol2269: Well whatever his crime was, he assaulted at least one officer and put the motoring public in danger of a collision, and at that speed he was traveling, would have killed innocent people, so the officer tried to Pitt him, which didn’t stop him and any normal person would have stopped, now the suspect in traveling in the wrong direction on the interstate with possible head on consequences, so the officer used his cruiser to end the pursuit so nobody would get killed. Both the pitt maneuver and using the cruiser to stop the suspect were justified to protect the motoring public. When the pitt maneuver was conducted, no other vehicles were around him, only officers

Totally worth it, no officer knows truly why people run did they commit a murder, is the car stolen, is their drugs in the car, do they have warrants, and or are they on their way to commit a crime. But running from lights and sirens is a probable cause for arrest. If criminals know they can just drive away a reckless speeds without pursuit this world would just go into ccaos
