tell me about it. started college classes in January. started working out in feb and broke my elbow (dislocated, shattered radial head, and fractured my humerus) in march and lost my job a week before i could go back. my work made me exhausted even though I was working twice a week just from the stress (housekeeping and helping laundry in a nursing home) and I was struggling with my college classes. lowkey felt relief when I broke my elbow because it felt like I could breathe

Can confirm, every time I tell myself I need to “lock in” and sacrifice rest time to get as much done as possible before a deadline, my body decides to get horribly sick to the point I can’t do anything productive 😅

worked a week in a row, each shift 10.5 hours long, with 2 of the days 12 hour shifts. retail pharmacy. genuienly unsure if it was something viral or not, but I ended up having to take 6 days off with migraines, dizziness, vomiting etc... my team was nice about it since im almost never sick, but it definitely felt like my body was getting revenge lol.

Got really depressed and fatigue trying to work hard to keep my job at Walmart.. ended up getting fired even when I expressed to them I wasn’t okay and have episodes at work. I found a better job with a better pay now ! People please ! TAKE A BREAK. It’ll hit you hard all at once 🥲

Pneumonia when they had us working working bad for inventory (Walmart). The workforce relied on me too stocking the whole store twice in a shift. Me clearing the freezers, dairy, running the departments. Literally had to work in the freezers all 10hr shifts every shift for 4 months straight.
