the people hating are genuinely just miserable. yes, she wasn't fighting alone but she was fighting like SIX dragon heads made of wood that were all trying to kill her at the SAME TIME. And due to the way her sword is built she could very well slice her own body, so she not only had to fight Zokuten from early night till SUNRISE, she had to focus on not accidentally killing herself. And no, physically, Shinobu is not stronger than Mitsuri.
