i flooded not one but TWO flex disks in under a half hour. those disks hold the equivalent of 5 super tampoms. so 10 super tampons in under 30 minutes. each tampon holds about 9-12 mL of blood. call it 10 to make it easy numbers. so thats 100 mL of blood in under half an hour. the nurse's hotline with my insurance told me to have someone drive me to the ER.

For me it was 2 days, my blood level was 4 forget about my iron or anything else. I was dying. They pumped me up with hormones got it to slow and then put me in continuous BCP. Ive had endometriosis and adenomyosis since I was a teen. I have to take it BCP continuously, I dont have a period on continuous BCP. Im not menopausal yet. Hopefully will be by 60.

I was diagnosed with fibroids. Currently going through perimenopause and since getting a normal period this month I was soaking a pad every 30 minutes for two consecutive days. Stared feeling fatigued and faint like so decided to run to the ER.

another example of how the female body regulates itself into survival, and how potentially detrimental it can be when these controlling hormones are not well balanced

Yay Hysterectomy! I was bleeding ou5 orange sized clots every 15 mins. Went from 12hgb to 7 in 3 hours. Transfusions, high dose hormones, 5 total er trips and admissions, a myomectomy and finally a hysterectomy when I got new fi roids 4 Mos after the myomectomy and did it all again. So thankful for not bleeding a drop after hysterectomy 3.5 years ago! I've had hgb as low as 5.5 and had a total of 4 Transfusions.

Craziest thing I ever saw was a PPH in the setting of accreta. She lost 3L so quickly; it was really shocking to watch

I kept thinking I would end up in the er every month for heavy bleeding. I would wake up weak and clammy. Then got a hysteroscopic myomectomy
