Credit cards are important to me at least for like putting down for hotels and rental. A lot of them will have you pay a deposit. When you use your debit card, the deposit is higher and it takes longer to get your money back into your account. Some rental places won’t even let you rent with a debit.

i absolutely agree! if you can keep with the credit cards they are basically free money.my rule is i budget and never spend over what i have budgeted so i never have a balance i can’t pay. we’ve got over 1k free money from credit card bonuses or rewards this year alone.
