I lived in Florida for 20 years for my career until I recently retired. Alligators were everywhere and as a photographer I used to take photos of them all the time. I have probably 500 photos, maybe more.

go to the Alligator Farm in st augustine and you can see a bunch and see Maximo and his girlfriend Sydney. you can hold a small gator and take pics as well

That’s why when you’re in Florida you have to be extremely cautious where you go swimming. Because chances are even if it’s a puddle there’s probably a gator in there. The shitty thing is if you go further down south, there’s crocodiles in the water. Saltwater crocodiles.

they won't attack you as long as you leave them alone. if your still in the area you should go to Orlando wetlands. it has some hiking trials and you can walk inches away from them. plus there's an air boat tour on the way out there and they'll take you right up to them like in the everglades and you can even hold one if you wanted.
