Hey man, I commented earlier on a video that showed up on my fyp (which is awesome!!! something you're doing is working, so keep at it). I recently got out of homelessness. My partner and I are addicts in recovery as well. You're right, relapse might happen, but that doesn't mean your fight stops or that you're failed and should give up. The greatest thing about life is that tomorrow comes (well unless the inevitable happens, but I think you get me) and we get to try all over again. Also, I felt like nothing was changing in my life and good things just weren't going to happen for me as well when I first started my recovery journey (and yes I've started over time and time again). As cliche and annoying as it sounds, it really just takes time. I'm 3 years in and only just now seeing my life starting to change... it got a whole lot worse before it got better. It's been worth it though, and I know it'll be worth it for you and your kitties too. Good luck brother ❤️
