Recession Indicators I’ve seen the past two weeks: line outside pawn shops of people holding their electronics, three people quietly crying in the grocery store as they pull items out of their cart before checking out, restaurants/fast food places with near empty parking lots during typical rush hours, gas pumps showing person before only bought 3-5 gallons of gas - just a few I’ve seen with my own eyes.

I enlisted, not because I couldn't find work, but because I'm 23 and refuse to work mediocre jobs the rest of life until I die. At least the millitary if I stay in for 20 years will provide me good benefits to actually retire or if I still wanna work I can get a college degree in a career I actually wanna do instead of working at a mediocre manufacturing job I can't stand.
