Tyler wasn’t there for odins first day of kindergarten either, it was very emotional, last year wasn’t so good for him, I’m hoping for a better year 😭

Definitely talk to the school counselor and let them know. I remember my school counselors talking to me when I lost my mom in elementary and dad in middle school. They'll be able to support her at school when you're not there and it'll be good for her to know she has someone to talk to if she needs it! 🫂

It was very hard for my son after his dad passed. So when he started kindergarten I made sure to let his teachers know. I also sent both my kids to school with pictures of their daddy in their bookbag. I never knew how worn a picture could get, but it was something I'm so glad I did

I don’t know how comforting this will be but my daddy died when I was 2 he passed pretty young he was only 26. But when I hear how highly others who knew him talks about him, I’m actually happy that I didn’t get to know him more because it has been easier not having anything to miss just the stories. And so all I have to grieve as an adult now is what could’ve been from what others have told me but I wasn’t aware enough to have to grieve what was. Who knows how it might be for your baby girl when she is older but I as an individual wouldn’t want it any other way cus this way has been way easier to live with. Love you mean it. 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾 you’re doing a great job

I understand if you say no, but I have an idea what that? Why don’t you write her a little note and sign it daddy then take a picture of her Father with you so that way he can still be there and take pictures with it so that way he’s still there even though I know he’s gone and he has passed away. It’ll still be a memory that she will stick with for the rest of her life, but I do understand if you say no, and I am so sorry that this has happened to you and your family. I could never imagine without being without My Husband I just I don’t think I could do it.

I hate this so much. My son’s dad passed away when he was 8. We weren’t together, but we co parented well. It’s just the worst. He was such a good dad. Sometimes I wish he’d have just been a dead beat so it wouldn’t hurt my son as much. I’m sorry you and your babies have to endure this.
