I had a similar situation happen a few months ago with an APHA mare. She was artificially inseminated and evidently got pasture bred 10 days later by a stud that jumped my neighbor's fence. Blood tests show different sires. In 40 years I've never seen this happen before.

We had twins horses when I was a girl, I loved playing with them, one was a little slow, mentally. My dad went to check the mare in the night and was so happy to see baby and then another ran out from behind Mom. Dad said he near had a heart attack
