Marx already noted that profits tend to decrease over time. Ultimately any company reaches a point where the only way to satisfy the need for increasing profits is to cut costs and/or raise prices. That’s your entshittification. Taken further, it’s a distortion because the users create the value but don’t own it ie your worker’s relationship to the means of production
