When I was having a gyno surgery I was completely under, one of the nurses told me after that an older male Gyno came in with 5 students to let them practice pelvic exams before the surgery started, my medical team chased them out as I had explicitly stated I didn’t want any students touching me while I was under (I don’t mind when I’m conscious but unconscious is a no go) I loved my team so much

Nurse here. Never witnessed nor heard of this actually happening but you technically sign consent most of the time without realizing it. Read the fine print! Especially if at a teaching hospital.
