The family of a missing man with Down syndrome is suing a care agency and the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) after he was trapped in a locked station room for six days. In October 2023, 31-year-old Rashawn Williams went missing after wandering away from his caregiver. Surveillance footage showed him entering the Glenmont Metro Station.
