i love analyzing qauritch, he’s was written beautifully. he acts purely human the first two movies, he’s short tempered, aggressive, and is just like a soldier on earth. he’s depicted as a hard military man that has little to no remorse for Pandora and it inhabitants. in afaa his personality changes slightly, he’s willing to talk before fighting, he walks barefoot, sleeps with a Na’vi, and speaks their language fluently. he even loses most of his military attire in the last battle, he was painted, wore armbands/accsories and a loin clothe. he is literally slowing becoming more Na’vi by the day and for some reason he can’t see it himself. he has soooo much potential to be a good warrior on Pandora but his mind still can’t shake that tiny human part of him yet, maybe its because he hasn’t been transformed into a ‘true’ Na’vi or he is just genuinely evil. him and varang’s connection is a whole other conversation i could talk about for hours too.

Do you know how crazy it would be to hold your own skull like that. That would be such a weird experience. Also as an anatomy student I really find it weird that the scratches went so deep but quaritch didn’t sustain a lisp or mandibular movement problems, he just got a cool scar. But the scratches would have torn several ligaments and tendons that move your jaw (if you clench your jaw you can feel these working o the side of you head near your temples)
