I had the student loans company call me up ask me why I haven't made any payments. I told them im broke and don't have job. they asked if I tried looking. I said yeah. they asked if I am able to pay any at all (I think they mentioned wanting a payment of 1k at first), I said no. they told me to look into financial aid and to pay it back when I get money lmao. that was it.

it's the banks, landlords and lenders vs the people. housing is widely available but the institutions are stonewalling the people from access hoping for some kind of bailout or miracle. Homelessness could be solved tomorrow and many could have new homes if not for the banks

they just built some appartment in my neighborhood, 2000 for rent. most of them are empty and the people who do move into them only stay for one or two months and leave. they also built new houses last year to add to the neighborhood, only two families live in them and one of them are moving out after only living there for a month.
