I wear noise reducing ear buds takes the edge off. I find it interesting how this noise is significantly lessened when they sleep on you LOL

for new or expecting parents ( or at least those in that demographic with supportive spouses) the best thing my wife and I did was to take shifts so the other can turn off their brain, do what they wanted and or sleep for 4 hours while the other handles the baby. at least twice a day then you'll both be up together for awhile and then repeat.
