Note: tortoises are great pets if you KNOW THE SPECIES. I’ve personally seen many people get baby sulcatas and be shocked when it doesn’t top out at 20 pounds

No, that turtle one is so true. I personally think aquatic turtles are some of the worst pets for the majority of people. Due to specifically the amount of care they truly require.

Rats are BY FAR some of the best beginner pets! I wish people understood how personal they are. They each have their own little personalities and they bond DEEPLY with their person/people. I miss both my girls more than anything in this world.

I have an African Grey...yeah parrots in general I don't recommend it for alot of people. If you REALLY want a bird pigeons are very loved species by bird owners they are larger species with very great personalities and actually domesticated by humans unlike parrots.

As a Chinchilla owner, the fuck you mean 7???? I love my baby but chinchillas are at most a 5. Chinchillas are fearful pack animals so you need to get at least two and they need a huge cage that you need to vacuum daily. Not to mention that they will chew everything and you need to keep the room they are staying in 70 degrees or below or else they could die of heatstroke.
