K-2SO is a former Imperial KX-series security droid found by Cassian Andor after a mission. Cassian reprogrammed him, transforming him from an Imperial machine into an Alliance fighter. After his reprogramming, K-2SO retained his immense physical strength and combat skills, but acquired a rather unusual personality: he is sarcastic, blunt, often speaks his mind, and has a complete lack of interpersonal skills. Despite his ruthless machine appearance, over time, he becomes a true friend and Cassian's most trusted partner. K-2SO is capable of single-handedly confronting several soldiers, withstanding serious damage, and carrying out the most dangerous missions. His story is particularly tragic, as in Rogue One, he sacrifices himself on Scarrif, helping Cassian and Jyn Erso obtain the Death Star plans. So K-2SO isn't just a battle droid, but a character with a real history: he was created by the Empire to suppress people, but ultimately became one of those who fought against it. #scary #ai #robot #humanity
