In Hungarian, we actually have a very similar logic and word structure. vika - vétek (fault / sin / mistake) -ton > -talan / -telen (the suffix "-less") So literally, it means "vétlen" (faultless / guiltless) Actual meaning: Just like in Finnish, the primary word we use for "innocent" is "ártatlan" (which literally translates to "harmless" or "without harm"). So the direct equivalent of viaton is ártatlan. 😊
