In my country, when girls turn 15, it's usually a HUGE party that's thrown for the birthday girl, with a hall, buffet, long dresses, etc But I didn't want a big party, since I'm not a party person, so nothing was planned, but I was hoping for at least gifts from people and stuff. That day, I only received congratulations, but no gifts. That day wasn't special like it usually is, it was dull, I didn't even get a cake. But at the end of the day, my mom came into my room with special pancakes, they were two enormous pancakes with whipped cream, chocolate frosting, sprinkles, and lots of love, my mom spent the whole day making them for me. My mom surprised me, but apologized profusely for not being able to buy me a gift or bake me a cake. She cried, thinking she had failed, but she had tried so hard to make the pancakes These pancakes made me so happy, much happier than any huge party, because it meant how much my mom cares about me and loves me. I couldn't even finish the pancakes that night because they were so big, but they were delicious and I loved them That day was very significant for me, it was the best birthday I've ever had, even without a party or presents, and since then I've loved my mom more than ever despite our difficulties

while I was in the hospital for a month, my dad remade my room, (I was bed rotting for months and my room was disgusting) , he painted the walls detailedly, got me a new tv , got me a new desk , got me a new bed , and most of all got me a kitten , I am now in a clean room, and now I have my mental support cat ♥️
