One of the best things I had in Tokyo aside omakase sushi was a roasted sweet potato from a street vendor. It was November and just the right kind of chilly. I'd split one with a friend. It was magic.

the best matcha so far was the matcha in harajuku for me 🥰 lil expensive but super intensive without being bitter (even my bf who hates matcha liked it)

People just go to Japan! Every shop is great the smaller, the better. To queue for a restaurant or anything else is exactly why locals are sick of us. Oh and by the way you are getting up charged (ask any honest local you know) which is fine but find the small places on Google Maps and you’ll be stoked

I’m donut was terrible. The original flavor was good but worth the hour I waited for it? No. I got 12 donuts bc I was so excited to try them all with my husband and we only enjoyed one. Biggest let down.
