@worldpoliticsexplained: Some people are trying to paint my hometown as the bad guy. We are not. Morocco’s youth unemployment rate is around 30%, and yet we’re being told that we should be responsible for controlling the border — not their own government. What about the young people risking and losing their lives trying to cross into Ceuta? Shouldn’t their government be asking why its own people feel they have so little opportunity that they’re willing to risk their lives for a better future?
