Lots of comments asking how “there will be death on your hands” is a threat. And maybe it’s possible there’s some context that could paint it as non-threatening. HOWEVER, the response from the plaintiff is “I do remember the threat”, and he has no reaction to her saying that except “OK”. In other words, he himself had no objection to it being characterized as a threat. Which probably means it was meant as a threat.
