even when they check up on you and listen to you, it could just be them being strategic and making and investment with your life for a payoff later. imo it all comes down to where we're headed. if it aint in the same direction, then I know itll end. my direction is towards Christ, if they aint walking that way with me then that's on them. im never gonna stop walking that way.

Reflecting has taught me that it's actually not the other person's fault, I had to heal my childhood traumas. We tend to pour into people, until we are depleted because of abandonment & rejection. I stopped reaching out & there was silence, I block anything or anyone that drains my peace. God also sees people's hearts, His rejection is a way of redirecting you. 💕

I stopped venting to ppl when I noticed that 9 times out of 10, they would IMMEDIATELY turn the conversation back to them and I would end up being the shoulder to lean on/giving the words of encouragement to them, as usual.
