@samkevinss: My name is Perlaza , and I am reaching out with a heart that is heavy. I am the mother of a beautiful baby boy Sam. He is my whole world, but right now he is fighting a battle no child should ever face. My son has been diagnosed with multiple cerebral arteriovenous malformations, or AVMs. Inside his tiny brain, there are several abnormal tangles of blood vessels where arteries connect directly to veins. These tangles are fragile and put him at constant risk of a life-threatening brain hemorrhage. Most people with this condition have only one AVM. My baby has several. Every day, I look at him and pray that today is not the day one of them ruptures. The fear never leaves my heart. The doctors have told us he needs urgent and specialized treatment to survive. This condition will not heal on its own. Waiting only increases the danger. He needs advanced brain imaging, specialist consultations, and complex procedures like embolization or radiosurgery to protect his brain. I am doing everything in my power to get him the care he needs. But the cost is far beyond what I can manage alone. The medical bills, procedures, medications, and hospital stays add up to an amount that feels impossible for one person to bear. I never imagined I would have to ask strangers for help. But I cannot allow money to stand between my son and his chance at life. He deserves to grow up, to laugh, to play, and to see all the beauty this world has to offer. This is why I am humbly asking for your support. No amount is too small.
