As a sister of a brother who up and left his family and moved on over night! Shame in her! I stepped in when my brother stepped out. It was not my responsibility but I could not as my nephews blood be another person who abandoned them during a time of hurt and confusion. I hope my presence in that time made a difference. 🙏 My nieces and nephews will always be like my own. As an aunt that’s what we are supposed to do. Guide love and protect is our role as Aunts.

When I was going through divorce myself. My therapist told me no matter how much you try to explain yourself to his family,they're never going to have your back. his family is his family and your family is yours. when hell breaks loose everybody only has their own kid or siblings. 🤷🏼 it was hard to hear but it made sense. my mother-in-law I thought who Loved me turned on me at the end.😩
