@charleybournetruecrime: The Tragic Case Of Theresa Cachuela 💔 This case is eerily similar to the horrific crime case that just unfolded of Social media influencer Sara Gilson who was killed by her estranged husband less than two weeks after she posted on TikTok accusing him of a serious crime. The Sara Gilson crime case went viral due to the shocking nature of the crime as well as the fact that Sara had posted a trending TikTok video referencing getting ready for a Netflix true crime documentary. Theresa’s case was chillingly similar. She also was a social media influencer and posted content online, and had an estranger husband. She had called 911 at least three times in the run up to Christmas 2023 to report her husband to police. In one call, police could hear her screaming, as she sped off in a car shouting that her husband was chasing her. And just before Christmas, things hit breaking point - she took out a restraining order to try and protect herself and her children - very similar to how Sara Gilson had. Court records stated: "I am doing this to protect myself, my children, and to hopefully get him the help he needs,” But on the morning of the 22nd December, he took her life. In a car park near a shopping centre in Honolulu. In front of her young daughter.
