once you skip a generation, you can "view" the bones of the past hominids, and it gives you a pretty decent amount of neuronal energy. if you view maybe 4 or 5, it'll fill it up all the way

I haven’t played in a bit because I eventually made it to the Savannah, but incoilsnt drink the water because it made my pack sick. And they kept getting scared of the buffalo that were around the water

I feel like you're over simplifying it. Outside of finding new areas there's repeating the little things that open new neural pathways. Like making walls, sharpening sticks and walking in the water to get them walking upright just to name a few. My guys are always damn near upright making their own weapons and violent as hell before we ever leave the first location.

But my biggest problem was that i couldn't find other adult apes to recruit to my clan i dont know if my save was bugged but and then everyone died when going to the savanna and i quit i was looking everywhere and even after a new evolution there were none
