As a chubby kid with a tiny older sister- yes! Women are psychologically more likely to internalize issues- thus higher rates of eds as is. The constant comparisons and assumptions of how your body should look is taken in at such a young age. I remember sucking in my stomach at 8 all day to the point I’d feel soreness when I relaxed at home

No I deadass used to think like this as a young girl. I’d see skinner women online and think “I’m younger and bigger while they’re skinner and older. Something’s wrong” it’s so strange how the brain works for these girls :(
