If your parrot is grieving the loss of its owner, try to keep its environment calm and familiar. Spend extra time with it, talk to it gently, and play recordings or videos of its owner’s voice if they seem to comfort the bird. Keep its daily routine consistent, offer its favorite foods and toys, and give it plenty of attention without forcing interaction.
If it stops eating, becomes very quiet, or shows signs of illness, it’s best to have an avian veterinarian check on it.

Try playing a video of your father talking every day for the parrot. Hearing his voice and seeing him may comfort the bird and help it feel that he’s still around. ❤️
